Mosin Nagant 91/30 hex receiver 1932

Hi there,

I want to know if the Mosin nagant 91/30 hex receiver 1932 worth for 200 $, the condtion is very good, bright bore, excellent rifling, no rust and such on the receiver. I saw at local so I just wonder if I got ripped off or not before I pick her up. Thanks .

Decent price, typically private sellers ask that much or more for the hex. Although wholesale sports and Canadian Tire stores have hex mosins that sell for the same as the rounds. ($160-175)

Last time Westrifle brought in Mosins I asked for a hex on the pre order and ended up with 1932 in fantastic shape, $190 Shipped IIRC.

I find braced on the bench she packs a wallop, bad posture maybe? but standing, kneeling it's not an issue.

I think $200.00 would be at the high end, but if its in really nice shape its ok.

A bit high due to taxes but I'd pay that for a nice example. Frosty's on the 132(Kahnawake) had them for 169 flat and can have more in usually within a week if they don't have any in stock.

I myself have experienced this. The mosin is the only rifle I have that when bench shooting seems to not fit quite right and I take the brunt of the recoil on the nerve in my shoulder. Changing bench height helped reduce the issue, and insure you hold it firmly. All other shooting positions are good.
