Not sure if anyone else has had this problem. But when I de-assembled my nagant to clean all the cosmoline out then reassembled it. Am important thing to check for is pin pertrusion. Well it seemed it would be greater then .0075 but just skimming the .0095 mark on the teardrop multi tool that came with it. Not sure if anyone else has had this problem. An answer would be great though. I don't feel as if it is safe Enough to fire my rifle at this time :(

Protrusion?

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. Is there a design amount of protrusion for the firing pin when assembled? How much pressure is needed to press the pin back flush?

I did a half turn counter clockwise to back it off. Now it's just skimming the 75 and way under the 95. Hopefully It will still ignite primer. By pertrusion I mean the amount the pin sticks out when being fired.

Should be alright. If your using surplus ammo keep in mind the primers are a little harder then commercial stuff. They are reasonably forgiving. If your within tolerance using the tool you should be good to go.
