Mosin nagant M44 Carbine

Guys, I'm just going to throw this in here and leave it and run away. But More Gun Supplies has M44's for $169! http://shop.moregunssupply.com/Mosin-Nagant-M44-Bolt-Action-Rifle-762x54r_p_64.html

Ah run before the bash hammers come out! :)

He doesn't have em and won't be getting them!

Didn't find out till I called, after beating myself over wether or not to give him my money, after previous bad experiences.

Lucky for me I called first, and was relieved when told he didn't have, em.

I love my M-44 in laminate. Thanks for the heads up about MoreGuns. I just about went for it.

I can't see them going up in price that much because so many people have these and bought them to be safe queens.

Consider the Lee Enfiled, How many do you see floating around, and at what price? German Mausers? Swiss K31s? M14s?

When there are no more coming into the country, the price will go up. The ones available will be someone's "safe queen", and they ain't givin them away for free. Ammo has the same cycle and effect.

Yes, it is.

The Polish M44's are probably the best quality MN's you'll see. I have one of the unissued ones and it's a beautiful rifle.
x1 I bought 1 from S.I.R manys years ago for $114, still in grease, unfired in my gun cabinet:D I should get another 1 for shooting, russian, polish or whatever i can found:)

I bought M44's from Marstar back in the day. He had some really nice ones, and some were $35.95 + .05 for the second one! I kept like new Polish (x2), Hungarian, and Romanian ones. Right now, the 91/30's are the deal. Great rifles for great prices. Some very nice examples showing up.

As others have said, these will eventually dry up. The internet has been instrumental in educating people who would have otherwise thought these were just "old Russian army rifles", but now know different. Most of the credit has to go to the people who have fed databases such as the Military Surplus Knowledge Library.

Buy lots, people. Spite the left-wing pinkos and anti-gun quacks. Oh boy, I'd better quit now!!:p

So I ordered my 3 91/30's from westrifle on monday and they shipped them out the same day!

Unfortunately the stupid Canada post tracker says they are still in B.C. ... I hope this is inaccurate and they get here soon

Had my m44 out the other day, did great, but got sticky after 60 or so rounds, this is shots 60-70 of the day.

Sticky bolts are not uncommon for a Mosin. Use a chamber brush or spin a brass .410 brush in the chamber with a cordless drill. Czech surplus ammo seems to stick more than Russian surplus and commercial rounds.
