Hey guys. I found a nice 1907 Izevesk M91/38. Any idea on a value? I've never seen one before but I've led a sheltered milsurp life. I would post pics but I'm on my phone today. Seems in decent shape few wood dings expected on a 105 year old rifle. Still packed in cosmo. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Are you sure about that 1907 91/38?
No such thing.
Would it be a 1907 M91? It should be worth at least a couple of hundred and up.

"Are you sure about that 1907 91/38?"

Could be one of the czech conversions, not common in Canada.

I have a 91/38 and a 91/59. Your 91/38 is only the third I've heard of in Canada.
well then I guess I can stop feeling guilty for impulse buying sight unseen. It was listed for sale as a Mosin Nagant 1907 carbine which
I thought that itcouldnt possibly be either.after I was educated on the rarity of those. I thought that it would be a 91/59 but once it arrived it didn't match the ones I seen on the interweb

Good find. A few dings and scratches on the outside are no indication of how well it will shoot. I always slug the barrel and take some measurements before i go to the range to give my an idea of what to expect. Even a loose barrel can shoot well if you go up in bullet diameter by a size or two. The biggest problem to bad groups with milsurps is the crown, in my opinion.

I'm posting these pics for kingsizetm.
