This thread shall be used to develop a database of the Mosin-Nagants owned by the CGN membership and serve to provide a basis of the distribution of the many variations of Mosin-Nagant in Canada.

Any Unique Barrel markings or features: Low serial number, no import markings

Accessories: SA stamped captured Russian M91 sling
Closing Notes: Shoots like a dream!

Closing Notes: Very 'experienced'. Spliced, pinned and very extensively arsenal repaired stock- I'd bet it was the bane of someone's existence for a week at the armory. Lots of character.
 
Yep, it's a late production rifle- 1944. Production was from '42 to '44. The highest serial number in post war records appears to the 509667, but the run was of 10,500 rifles, which leaves quite a few to be accounted for.
