Mosin Nagant - Presale

They have been shipping for the last 2 days and it will take a few more to finish. I know someone has been working on emails all day
 
Pubb, call the store of you haven't gotten a call or an email. They just told me all the Mosins have shipped except for ones that people don't have the correct information or had processing issues. Those people were all called.

Ok, I see mosin's for sale everywhere but never inquired. What's the deal about em?? Cheap ammo? Good shooter? Just a beginer rifle? I don't like missing out on good deals. Does a guy need one?

Very cheap, good condition (factory refurbished), full of history, fairly accurate, fairly cheap ammo. So yeah, you need one. ;)
 
They're dirt cheap to own. And if you don't mind cleaning them soon after shooting, VERY cheap to shoot with surplus "corrosive" ammo (it should really be called hygroscopic not corrosive).

I think they're a great deal.

Got mine today, great condition, lots of cosmoline, but once I got it cleaned the bolt was smooth good trigger and fires great. Only 3 rounds through it so far but I cant wait to see how well it groups on paper. Ohh and its a 1940.

I got mine today. Just disassembled it (bolt too) and let it soak in mineral spirits. No rub, no scrub. 15-20 minutes in bucket, funneled min spirits into barrel and all is well.

Should look pretty awesome.

Just ordered one at 129$. Still seems like a great deal to me. I'm wondering if I can have it shipped camo'd as a stir fryer or something so the wife doesn't kill me.......
 
I will post some pics tomorrow, but at first blush, I am happy with my rifle. The wood is plain but seems to be intact and unrepaired. The cosmoline is there but not excessive. I will need to inspect the metal much more closely but I can see good rifling in the barrel.

It is a 1943 Izzy and all of the serial numbers match.

I just got my Mosin today! WooHoo!!! Its awesome, some fellow gun enthusiasts came over to see it. I soaked the day lights of it in my varsol tank. There were a couple of corrosion spots under the forestock and it wiped right off. I then brake cleaned it liberally and then took out the fluid film to resoak it. I let it sit for a couple of hours in fluid film then wiped down and reassembled. The bore is an easy 8.5-9 /10. I just got 10 shots out of it and it shoots very well @ 50 yards thus far with PPU SP Ammo. All in all I'm 100% pleased with my Mosin Nagant and SFRC! I will post some pics of it along side my SKS in the red rifle section. :) !!!!! Oh and I did disassemble the bolt and made sure all cosmoline was gone and verified firing pin protrusion prior to firing. ;)
 
Any idea where I can get an Mosin Nagant, they all seem to be sold out everywhere I look, same thing with damn ruger 10/22's, they can't keep those things in stock if they tried.
