Hello everyone,
I've had a sniper 91/30 for few years by now, have never had issues. I am casual shooter, and it was accurate enough for me to punch holes at 100 and hit gongs at 300-400 most of the times.
I took it apart few months ago, refinished the stock. I put everything back together a couple of weeks ago and now the reticle in the scope is majorly out of focus. The posts are fuzzy to the point where I can't aim at all. Also, another thing i notices - i started seeing the ghost shape of the front sight at the bottom of the scope.
Any ideas why it would happen?
Any way to fix it without costing arm and leg?
I have seen bunch of options for mounting the different mount and scout scope, also seen bunch of reviews trashing this option.
Lastly, and it may sound like a stupid question, but can i just pick up a scope with the correct tube size and use my PU side mount with it?
I talked to my buddy, he asked me if I dropped it. I don't remember doing it, but can't rule it out. And if I had, it would've been from about table height onto the carpeted floor. I really hope it is more sturdier then that.
