Mosin Nagant Revolver Ammo

Hi,

I heard you can use something called 32 Magnum and 32 S&W flawlessly in these nagant revolvers (The 1896 I believe). Any truth to this and how much does that ammo go for?

it's Nagant 1895 revolver. has nothing to do with Mosin.

You can safely shoot 32 S&W long from it. but you won't have the gas seal that the revolver is known for.
in the US they even sell 32 cylinders. but these will make the revolver prohib in canada

you can always get the dies and brass and bullets from suppporting dealer. Tradeex has them i think.

The 32 S&W and Mag cases are about .020" small in dia and can split.

You can use that brass with some success, but can you use the 32 H&R Magnum ammo? It goes a bit over 20K CUP. As I recall, it's ok, but just checking.

Most guns that use 32 caliber ammo are prohibited, so demand is low, the availability is low and prices are usually high... but you may save a few bucks over original (extra cleaning involved)...
