PS: If you don't believe me, put some cold blue on a q-tip and touch it to the muzzle "chrome". It will turn black. Real chrome doesn't blue ;)

You're right, it's not chromed. Learned a lot from you guys! But that still is a good gun, love it. :)

Nasty women. Liked to torture captured US solders and send them back still alive.
Carlos Hatchcock took care of her.

Just a head up that's not who that is in the picture...

Pride of Defense

A woman in the militia helps defend Binh Da hamlet, one of many northern villages whose inhabitants readily took up arms during the Vietnam War (1968).

And I'm sure if she can handle the carbine then so can you. :D

Also...

if you are just looking for a shooter, there is not much to choose from between the 38 and the 44, but if you are looking to carry it around in the bush or in your truck, the 38 is probably the way to go as the bayonet adds weight and bulk to the 44.

But one needs the Bayonet for Bear defence. :D

It is just polished, not chromed...

Nice one:D

My M44 kicks like a cart horse, spits fire and makes my ears bleed. In spite of all this with the right loads it is minute of angle. I love it.:)

If you've read from the other post, I'm getting an M44 this summer and afterwards a 91/30. I can't wait to try them both out!

Keep this recipe safe until you get your M44. 125grn bullets ( I pull mine from Czech 7.62X 39) 56 grns of BL-C (2). These will make your day, I guarantee it.

PS don't bother with the 91/30, that's a womans rifle.

Man..m44's seem to be the gun you're afraid to even shot with..never mind the target  (*hint* 7.62x54R) !

LOL :D

Well..seem like a gun i'd like...but man,the 91/30 kick as well..Rob,let's make a deal..next time we go shooting togueter,i'll bring the pillow and you bring the M44 :D !
