Mosin Nagant slings for Russian SKS's?

how many of you get the Mosin Nagant slings (the dog-collar type) for your Russian SKS's purchased from dealers?

thats a sling for a Mosin Nagant

Your dealer may have received Mosins and SVTs from IZH as well and somebody did not know how to ID the correct sling.

Likewise, the particular SKS shipment might have been shorted on slings and the Mosin type substituted.

Either way you should contact the dealer and ask for the correct sling.

Those straps scratch up your barrel and gas tube.
I use adjustable nylon slings with shoulder pads to avoid that.
