Hahaha Oh man! I saw that the other day and was speechless.

That is not his first atrocity either, he apparently does it to numerous Red mislurps and then tries to to sell them for more money than stock dealer price........

We should start a pool on how long it takes to sell, I'll start it of with never lol

I have a mosin question. My brother in-law found one in a house slated for demolition. The stamp indicates it was manufactured in 1905 in Tula. By the look of it, it has never seen cosmo. Just wondering if this is something I should keep in a case and save or if it is just like any other mosin. I know they are inexpensive to start with, just wondering if this is anything other than surplus. I looks as if its been through the ringer but damage is very old.

I would do everything to try and get it cleaned up and running again. You don't see them that old out there very often. Usually just pre WWII and later are the ones you see.

I wouldn't say never. It's all in the eyes of the beholder. That one makes my eyes bleed. I saw the chromed SKS and all I can say is, WOW!. Not my cup of tea. If some of the fittings had been left in the black I would at least think the contrast might look better but all chrome? Someone, somewhere will buy it but not for a long time.

If you dont like it someone will take it off your hands. If you do, keep it.

Clean it up the best you can.
Keep it if you're into them or want to get into them.
Serviceability will depend on corrosion especially in the bore.

If not you can always clean it up the best you can and sell her on the EE as a whole or for parts.

Can you post some pics? Sounds like an interesting piece.
