Mosin scope mount options ?

Hello all...

My latest project came to me as a cut up 91/30 bbled action..I have decided to rework her into a decent throw it over your shoulder and carry it all day carbine for deer...My other option was to scrap it and the bbl/ bore is just too nice to waste.
Got a nice laminate stock on order from Boyd's,...and now im trying to decide what to put on her, scope and mount set up..
What have you used ,and what works..?

Copy and pasted from a reply from an earlier thread that is still on the first page of this forum and is entitled "mosin scope mounts".

The best mount are the Rock Solid Industries mounts (you'll need to import through borderview, you can Google them, good guys out of Washington state, they are the cheapest).

Next best thing available in Canada is the TrueShot stocked by http://www.hical.ca/

Both make round and hexagonal receiver versions.

Rocksolid is the absolute best I put one on my 91/30 that came budda'd with a timney trigger and i got me a tack driver.

I can confirm this.

The Trueshot is a close second though. Sits a little higher but is a see-thru style, if you want to keep irons.
