Mosin Scout Build

I looking to do a scout build on my mosin, and I'm looking for recommendations for a LER scope. Keeping in mind that it is a mosin, and not a super high end rifle I'd like to keep the build budget friendly. I'm hoping to keep the scope costs at around the $100-120, however I'd certainly go a little higher for the right scope/deal. What is everyone's recommendation for a good budget friendly scope?

I looked at this before and read a lot of scout scope reviews before making a decision.

I ended up going with a NcStar 2-7 Long Eye Relief scope. The reviews said it would hold up and I was pleasantly surprised that it did.

Sounds about what I'm looking for. Where did you pick yours up from?

Feel free to ignore as this is out of the stated price range, but I found Leupold VX-3 2.5-8X32 quite satisfactory.

Aim sports LER. Tons of reviews on them for mosins. I use one on mine and it works great for an inexpensive scope. I got mine off amazon.

Thanks for the suggestions guys! Have any of you tried a red dot? Something else I've been considering....
