I was doing some shooting with my Mosin 91-30 which is unmodified and I noticed that the bolt moves upwards a little and then
back downwards as I pull the trigger. The trigger seems quite smooth, I would even call it a "hair trigger" in comparision to any
of my SKS. Is this something to ignore because all Mosins do that? The bolt is quite loose in the action, except after firing.

Flexing of the cocking piece is completely normal during a trigger pull. The better the fit between the sear and its mating surface on the cocking piece the less flex there is, but there is still some.

Yes that's normal.

I have a few Mosins who's triggers could use some attention. I've watch videos and have tried, with unsuccessful results.
