Is there anyway to tell if this rifle was issued or not 43 tula cant post pics sorry ruff stock etc. Numbers match but mag seems nice no marks or fatige everything else seems like its seen some use???

You can consider all Mosin used,except polish M44 wich can be unissued,when they look clean they have been refurbed for most part. Look on the stock for a box with a cross line in,that's a refurb mark. Btw, Mosin belong to milsurp section

Check the bolt face and you should get an idea if it's been shot more than a few times.

43 Tula makes it a Russian communist produced rifle no matter who the designer was, or when it was designed.

Its apples and oranges but really its arguing where it fits in relation to the forum. Call it what you like. The rifle fits into many build genres, pre-comm russian, comm russian, US, Finn etc etc. The "communist" history of the design is only one fragment of the entire lineage.

1943 was the middle of WWII, some rifles would have seen harder use than others.

Likely all MN's made before WWII and during saw action.Then there's Korea,Vietnam,the Middle East,Africa,Cuba and every other civil war past or present.Past along down the line.

You may enjoy this site...everything about the Mosin you could hope for. Myself I bought a Field head space Gauge to check my Mosin just for peace of mind....it passed...
