Got it today. Nicely packaged. Thanks, Ryan!

Just wiped of cosmoline from the outside. 1939.... It might as well be one of my granddads during WW2. If it could talk....

Some pictures:

i was very happy with mine as well. from 1940, the bolt was shiny! i shot it and had decent minute of man at 100 with irons. it shoots a bit high but thats ok.

wow, that's a nice one. did you touch anything up on it other than just cleaning it. I got one a while ago from a local shop and it is not near as pretty as yours. I might have to order another one, but this time from the ammosource.

Looks like a quick wipe down since the strap holes are still yellow with cosmoline. Mine are shiny and silver now.

Who was it who you bought this from? I would really like one.

fromt he ammo source, of course. Click on the link on top of this thread and get yourself a fine rifle for 120 bones! and great shipping rates.

its a cool piece of history.

Thanks Bananatole Ill be sure to get ordering one, and just another question are the pictures of the one ID64 got this link here?

I was just wondering because it said birch finish and I wanted to make sure that was the birch finish aswell as where is the bayonet it mentions in the description of the sale? Did you just not show it in the pictures I would like to see one.

no problem. it comes with a sling, multitool, other tool (i havent figured out yet, i think it is for the sight?), oiling can, bayonet, and a couple little pouch thingys to feel cool at the range with.

the bayo is a pig sticker type. like the chinese sks but heavier it feels like.

The tool is probably a gauge to set the headspace with, got a bunch of notches on it?

Other end kinda looks like a chisel or a wide slot head screwdriver?

you got it. you can take the bolt apart with it as well. basically you can field strip it completely and you feel cool doing it

Nope, just wiped with microfiber towel.

I believe you are right Pimply Bum (Strange name to read out loud ahahah) It looks sort of like a circular part with a point much like a outline of an ice cream cone with notches on it

Yup, headspace gauge. The pointy bit can be used as a carbon scraper but I've never done it.

Got mine today... Nowhere near as nice as yours man... Rusty in alot of spots, no year, barrel seems ok. Will post pics later in the week when the sun in out. Night and day compared to yours.

Yikes... Sorry to hear that. On what parts of the gun they are located? What year is it?

The bolt it pitted in a bunch of places, rust marks on the end of barrel, under the receiver, on the magasine. I will post pics later in the week.... And no year markings whats so ever. All I know is its an IZY.
