Too bad there isn't an aftermarket steel slide. No point fixing it with another stock one.
I was just inspecting mine to determine how it cracked, why dont they put a thin polyurethane pad where the slide bangs against the recoil spring base thing ( not sure of the name). Seems like an easy fix.
I did the same had no help from SIGI had mine fixed at MD Charlton. Sold it immediately after I got it back. Too many problems with that gun.

Yep I have a friend who had one, slide cracked. They are junk. Sadly there is no other option for a Sig style .22LR trainer. Many better options for a “full-size” .22LR pistol... but if the Sig pattern is important for your application then your limited to the low quality present in the Mosquito offering.

The .22 xchange kit with a few mags from his designs will give you a great training tool for drills. I picked one up here for ~$225
Probably made from the same batch of crap as the Walther P22's.
Most people are better off getting a .22 kit for their firearm if it is available.
