OK, so I'm in the local Shoot Straight gun store and eye a Mossberg 1200A1 semi auto with extended mag attachment. Take this gun for a test drive on their range and it starts hangiing up every 2nd or 3rd shoot. I was using Remington slug loads. WQhe I manually stroked the action there was smooth feeding and ejection of the rounds, but one I put it to my shoulder hang-ups onto the feeding ramp.
So thry take the gun upstairs where the expert is and the answer I got was "that this being a military firearm it is only desighned to shoot military spec double 00 buck.
I've never heard that before so quickly exchnged the 92ooA1 for an 870 Magnum express with extended mag tube from the factory.
Anyone here everheard of the 9200A1?
