I have a beautiful 1950's-60's era Mossy 152K. When shooting, it will function flawlessly for 5, 10, 20 rounds. Then, after reloading the 7 shot magazine and re-inserting, the bolt will not cycle back. It is as if it is seized. Removing the magazine makes no difference. I then remove the breech plug and the bolt slides out without issue. I re-insert and replace the breech plug. Functions great again for 5 , 10, etc then the same thing all over again.

There is no visible wear or damage to the bolt or hammer. Spring seems good. I stripped down this AM, gave it a Molly Maid cleaning, wiped a very thin film of RemOil on the bolt assembly and put back together. Bolt won't cycle back. Took magazine out still won't cycle . I can't see where it is binding but it must be. I'm stumped.

Any real suggestions from Mossy owners? - telling me about your CIL Anschutz that has FTF problems won't help.

Thanks.

often i have found that the recharging handle will wear, slip slightly out of place and bind on the slot in the action.
I found that the charging handle hole in the bolt was out of round front to back by about 3/100ths in. I carefully filed the exterior side of the slot on the handle back to a bevel to match the factory bevel on the inner edge of the slot. I then slightly rounded the edges of the slot, and polished the bottom.

Flawless performance with 100 rounds Win Super X today. Zeroed at 50 yards and shooting 1/2MOA. Thanks a lot for the suggestion.
