mossberg 352k

one thing I like is the triggers on the older .22's are an awful lot better then the new ones.I love my marlin 795-but the trigger is very heavy

I'm sooooooo hoping, in 50 years (or 40...maybe 60) the "aux naturelle" (sp?) machining that comes with pulling that trigger countless times shows itself. I'm not old enough to have fired some of my favourites in "new" form.
 
the 352 being newer has what seems a heavy trigger as compared to my 51 and 151s. I had a 152 that someone else admired so it went to a new home. The stock was all wood even the drop forearm.
 
REALLY?-now you tell me! guess I'll just have to get a 151 and see for myself.....saw one for $100 [including the peep sight] and a scope at the last gunshow-and I didn't get it,because I figured I already had the 352...heavy triggers are my pet peeve

Man, for $100.00 I would have jumped all over that. The peep sights bring $80.00. With the scope the gun would have been free. And yes, the triggers on most of the older Mossbergs are lighter and smoother than the 300 series.
 
I know...I picked it up,put it down,continued walking around the gun show and decided to come back and get it anyway-it was gone.....you see something good,you better get it
 
I am also a bit of a Mossberg "junky" with a few in my cabinet.
I have a 151M(a) that I really favor...accurate and dependable.
A 42M(c) also resides in my safe, right alongside a 146b [one of two]
Have an early 640K "Chuckster" 22WMR as well.
These rifles all shoot amazingly well.
I would love to get my hands on a 144 LSB to keep my HB target rifles of other persuasions company.
Ahhh, Mossbergitis! I've had it for decades.

In regards to the firing pin breakage of the 352k, my father-in-law has one with it's second broken firing pin. Where would a person find the updated parts? Anywhere in B.C.? Any help would be appreciated.

Looking at a 352K now. Where can parts and extra mags be found? I think it comes with a 5 round mag now, but would like something bigger.
 
Numrich is a good source for parts, not sure if they have magazines in stock however. I have a 151Mb on its way that I'll be buying a few bits and pieces for eventually. I just hope I do not come down with the fever :)
