If there is already a thread a link would be much appreciated. y search function just does not seem to work.

If not has anyone given this lever action a good workout. They are cheaper than marlins ( probably for a good reason) but are they a total POS or are they the stevens 200 of the lever world ?
 
I still have mine and still give it a rough work out; I even used it this past black bear season. It's closer to a 400 round count now, not a single issue yet.
 
Actually, the only negative FACTS in the earlier 2008 thread consisted of two broken screws in barrel band. The rest were all rumour. Not a sound basis on which to condemn the gun. I've only had mine to the range twice but I like it a lot. Not as smooth as a Marlin but that may change as it gets broken in. I plan to use it a lot this Fall and will then have a better-founded opinion.
