Is it possible to shorten the stroke in a Mossy 464 30-30 calibre?

If the finger lever engages the bolt similar to a Win 94, not likely. Actuating the lever does many things in sequence. Shortening the throw would upset many things.
You would need to design a cam link to shorten the movement of the lever. Not economically feasible in my opinion.
