Mossberg 4x4 ducks unlimited

I just picked up a Mossberg 4x4 in 270 that was part of a ducks unlimited draw it has a little gold emblem on the stock and was wonder if any one has this gun and what they think about it. I am also wonder what the price would be as it is still un fired I thinking that maybe I will just resell it and buy a Savage.
 
I had the exact rifle from DU also ....mine was a tack driver, the only issue i had with it was the seemingly small bolt....anyways i sold it and bought a M70 Winchester in .270...but it was still a nice shooter right out of the box....had i been filthy rich i would have kept it....instead i am just filthy..:):)

I just got one from DU as well. Have yet to try it out. I have two young shooters and figure that this gun will be perfect for them. Do you remember what ammo you used for it? Or did you reload?
 
I'd keep it and never shoot it. If it's a "Ducks Unlimited Collectors" idea then it might be worth a few more pennies in years to come. The new 4x4's can actually shoot some impressive groups for their value.

i just used Winchester and Fusion factory loads with better success with the 130 Gr....but they both (130 & 150gr) both shot well
