mossberg 4x4 vs remington model 770

Buy a Stevens 200...its essentially a Savage 110 without an accutrigger....and Savage rifles are accurate as hell. I got the remington catalogue the other day...needless to say I am not impressed.
 
I say go for the 4x4! I was seriously considering one last year when I was buying a deer rifle, but no one had the laminate stainless in to look at. Then I found a Rem 700 thumbhole that I fell in love with and the budget went out the door, but I never read anything bad about the Mossbergs functionality. The skeleton stock is a bit ugly in my opinion, but some of the others look pretty cool.
 
Whatever you do, avoid the Remington 710/770. Buy the Mossberg if you must, although as everyone else has already said, Savage/Stevens if you want an affordable (new) rifle that has a reputation for shooting well.
