Mossberg 500 Accessories

I just purchased a new Mossberg 500 combo shotgun.

My question is where can I purchase accessories such as a new adjustable stock w/pistol grip and barrel guard.

Take a look at Knoxx stocks , I got the spec ops on my 500 and it works great you can get them from the shooting edge for 130$ as for the barrel guard i got one at wholesale sports for 35$

I'd also check for ATI accessories thru Cabela's, Marstar or Ebay. I have their tactical forend on my 500 and ive been happy with it so far. Had to do some light filing to make it fit properly but now its solid.
 
A pistol grip stock will make it difficult to use the safety on the 500.

Sounds like you'd be happier with a Maverick or 870.

and can someone please explain the point of adding a heatshield on a shotgun... please
 
ATI stocks are preaty good, they are not the best stuff out there but they are OK if you're on a budget. Marstar has them or you can get them from this place ww w.districorp.ca . Tac-Star shell holders are also good.
 
I dont like side saddles that mount to the reciever because it makes dissassembly very hard. If my shotgun is my Bug out gun I dont want to have to worry about keeping a hex key with me. my .02
 
The ATI and Knoxx stocks can have a 5 round shell holder attached to them on the left or right side, I have both and I'm happy with both of them. If you're gona put the ATI on your 500 you should also get the Stock Drop Spacer, unless you're using optics or have ghost ring sights.
