Mossberg 500 Combo 28" and 18.5"

I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this shotgun. I was wondering if the forend could be changed like other mossbergs. Any information would be greatly appreciated

Its a 500, there's tons of extra parts/accessories for it. I have a 500 with 28 inch field barrel, its great.

The for end is fused (pinned) to the action bars. There is no steel liner only the inner plastic of the fore end. I think it would require a complete assembly to replace it. Having said that I bought the combo and it is a bargain at the price. Very well engineered and should last a long time. Gun works and handles great. The short barrel looks cool on it also.

Yes matrapper is right, my fore end is pinned to the action bars as well, fore end is not easily interchanged unless you buy old parts. I have the combo though and I love it, cheap and reliable. Camp gun and backup waterfowl gun in one.

I just picked up a 3 barrel (turkey, deer, waterfowl) Mossberg 500 combo in 20 gauge at SFRC. Its the synthetic stock camo version.....love it so far.
