Hey, I'm gonna be ordering a Mossberg 500 JIC. It's going to be my first shotgun. For $316 I can get either the Mariner or the Cruiser. I really can't decide which one to go with! Are there any differences between the two? or is it just the color?

If I recall correctly, just the color. That being said, The mariner is better with rust, but then again, I've never had a rust problem with any of my Mossbergs..

Now I have another question.. I can either go with the JIC for $316 (Marine or Cruiser) or a 500 Persuader #50521. I'm going to be upgrading to a Knoxx stock so I wont be using the 500 Persuader stock. It's probobly worth the extra $16 for the JIC isnt it?
Heres the Persuader.. comes with stock and pistol grip

i bought a Mossberg 500 American (looks like picture above) off Del Selin (Vernon) for $309. came with a 28" barrel for trap and a 18.5" for fun. After taxes and shipping, it came to around $371. used it for trap over the weekend and did well for my first shotgun. then the slugs killed my shoulder more afterwards.. haha.
