Mossberg 500 JIC

Yes, I got one... Well not yet but it is currently somewhere in Canada Post's routes. Now I would like to know what my options are for changing the stock, and who carries them.

I went to Marstar and only this one is listed compatible for 500, 590, and 835

This is the one I want, but it doesnt have 500 listed. But it does say 590. So is this a mistake? I don't understand why something could fit X and Y, and then only fit Y while not X.

If this isn't a mistake, can someone point me to the direction of other 500 accessories.

If a stock says it fits a 12ga 590 it will fit a 12ga 500.

My mossberg 500 came "stock" (pun intended) from the shop brand new with the ar retractable stock.

my only question is why you bought the 500JIC to add a longer stock theyre intended for portability, you'd've been better with a 590 (if you really wanted a mossberg) and then upgrade it

I bet because it will fit in the cool storage tube with the folding stock, and a side saddle, and a bandolier...

Because first... good price. Second I want to switch between pistol grip and a stock whenever i feel like.

it'll fit. what i find is that shell holder is a bit of a PITA to remove shells from if I have all 5 in there. Plastic gets expanded and locks them in pretty good.
you can also remove the stock and just keep the grip.
