Mossberg 500- magpul forend

Question for the gurus.

Can a Magpul forend go on a mossberg 500 tactical, if the heat shield is removed.
Magpul no long list the 500 as compatible.
However, it seems some models of the 500 seem to except the magpul forend.. according to some YouTube videos.
They switch these models up so often, it seems.

The heat shield shouldn’t matter. It should work fine on your shotgun.

They'll fit, should come with a nut wrench too.

I did mine up in the backseat of my buddies truck on the way home from the store.
