Mossberg 500, my first purchase!!

Congrats, the classic model is a beauty. If that was their standard grade field model and they sold it at that price, I still think they would sell lots of 500s. How's the smoothness of the action? Did they work on it at the factory?
 
can't compare it as I don't have a regular one here, nor have I really shot one. Its pretty good really, but then again, I don't have anything to compare it to. I played with a couple of Remington 870s while looking to buy this and its as nice as those. well, except for when the slide is in its full forward position. There it is kinda wobbly, in the "twist" axis, if you know what I mean.

Trigger is better than some rifles/pistols I have shot tho. :)
 
I bought a used 500 and thought it was sloppy so I sold it. I went to a store and picked up a new one and was like crap they are like that from new. Lesson learned
