Hey guys~wondering if any of you have seen a CLEAN-looking picatinny rail mount for the mag tube of a Mossberg 500. I have a "Persuader", a small light I'd like to use..but most of what I've seen looks really lumpy. Hoping for a small pc. of pic rail that mounts on the side, positioned between the barrel and the mag tube, low-profile so I can remove the light if I choose to.

I have seen one...and thought I bookmarked the site, can't find it. I recall it wasn't cheap, $70+.

Thanks for taking a moment to respond.

Thanks for the info~that one from Wolverine might be just the ticket! I remembered where I saw the one I was thinking about, made by RS Products out of the US. Someone in the Red Rifles forum was using one they make on their SKS, I liked the look of it...but easily over $100 CAN when the dust settles.

I used a RS Regulate barrel clamp to add a section of rail for a weapon light on a cut down Winchester 2200. The RS Regulate clamp is a slick setup.

Good to hear an endorsement, I had almost decided on one based on how slick they look! lol I really dislike junked-up/tactical guns if I'm being honest..so if I'm adding anything, it needs to do an important job, and not get in the way doing it. lol

I agree, it’s not as streamlined a setup as say the Magpul forend with a section of rail but it is a good setup just the same. An additional benefit of the RS Regulate clamp is the light can be mounted much further away than the forend mount allows. Maybe not a big deal for some but I’ve got XXL hands and long arms so my Magpul forend with tape switch and light is a bit crowded...
