Mossberg 500 Question ???

Hey Guys, my lack of firearms aftermarket prices and lack of googling skills have led me to ask you fellow CGNers for help, i Bought the Mossberg 500 Combo for turkey Hunting and potentially deer hunting with the slug barrel ( not to sure about that one) anyways I thought that the 3 barrels and 4 chokes for 480$ was a good buy, and well I would like to add a pistol grip but one that has a pistol grip on it for the simple reason that I love the feel of them but I simply HATE the tactical adjustable stock that I find all the time.

That style of stock does not work well with the Mossberg 500. Top tang safety.

Just use it with the standard stock it came with. Works really good that way, just push forward with your thumb as you bring it to your shoulder.

Since you want the pistol grip style stock, get a Maverick 88 or a Rem 870. Since you already have a 500, just get an 88. Swap the fore-end assembly and buy what ever pistol grip style stock you want, in the color you want.

A couple that come to mind would be a speedfeed pistol grip stock or a Mesa LEO stock adapter and use a rifle receiver extension [tube] instead of an M4 type one, then add ether an A1/A2 rifle stock or get a rock river arms LE entry tactical stock, you'll all so have to pick a AR grip if you go this route.

Thank you guys for taking the time to answer, After shooting it a bit at the range in sitting position ( for turkey hunting) It kind of felt natural so i guess i'll keep it that way or I might end up buying the ATI tactical stock for it, time will tell.
