Hello, i have a probably obvious and easy question, it's getting me confused to be honest.
Usually mossberg 500's seem to have less than 8 shots, which would make an 18inch shotty clearly compatible with the 24''+ barrels.
If i should buy shotgun in this here link :

It seems to have a bit more capacity than a regular 500.
I am guessing that the ring underneat the 24''+ barrel won't be compatible with this long mag tube.
Am i missing something?

I didn't get the link to work but I'm pretty sure what you mean and you're right. Only buy the 20" barrel 8 shot if you want to keep it in that configuration. You can't swap barrels unless you swap the mag tube out as well.

Edit on link, i am selling my 590 for lack of versatility, seems like the 500 needs to have less shell capacity if i want to make a combo out of it.

I have the 20'' version, and since my use of shotguns is about once in about 2-3 months, i do not feel like i need something tacticool anymore.
I just want something i can put a 28'' inch rib vent barrel for skeet, and be able to put 18-20'' for camp gun. So far my findings would be to go with a mossberg 500 that has lower capacity mag tube.
Too bad that's one aspect i really enjoyed of my 590 having the 7+1 mag tube
