mossberg 500 tactical mod?

I have a 28 inch moss 500. Id like to make it tactical (18 inch, extended mag, pistol grip with ar stock)

Whats the best way?
 
Putting a pistol grip on a 500 makes it impossible to disengage the safety without removing your firing hand from the grip. Kind of defeats the point of a tang safety IMO.

ATI makes some craptastic gear.
 
i never use the safety anyway.
there is a cartridge in the chamber only when I am ready to shoot. if I am not ready to shoot, there is no cartridge in the chamber. quite a good safety if you ask me. never breaks or fails.

Of course it would never break or fail, you never use it! ;)

It is a great safety, just not in a great location if you are using a pistol grip.
 
WHY would people even consider buying Mossberg barrels for $179 when you can buy a Mossberg 500 combo with 18" barrel and 28" vent rib barrel for $289? that means you are getting an extra complete Mossberg 500 for $110 more.

buying Mossberg barrels separately is a huge waste of money.

Where can you get that new special porpose with 9 shot ar stock? seems bo everywhere
