I want to replace the plastic safety button with a metal one. The screw that holds the button on is a one way only with the crown flattened on 2 sides to prevent unscrewing. How can it be removed?
I was able to get mine off with just a normal flat blade screwdriver and a lot of downward pressure while turning it out. There is a tiny spring loaded detent ball under the button, be careful not to lose it while disassembling.
