Mossberg 500 temporary fix and where to find parts

So my 500 started to light strike on the primers more noticeably. It started being more prevalent in a hunting situation when the gun is cocked for a period of time, it became inevitable that first round would light strike. Rack a new one in and it would fire. It pulled the gun apart and ended up taking almost a coil out of the firing pin spring just to weaken it a little bit. I also pulled the plunger spring (?) out that loads the hammer. I gave it a bit of a stretch so that it sits a 1/4" longer at rest, trying to get a little more pressure in there. As of last nights duck session that seems to have solved the problem, but I would like to order new springs to replace just incase it acts up again. The plunger spring seems especially hard to find, Mossberg lists it as a part that only dealers can get/install? Any insight from anyone would be great. Thanks guys.

Cheers,
Dave
