4 years ago I bought a Mossberg 500 12 ga. with the 18.5" barrel as my first shotgun. Soon found out the cylinder bore wasn't good for patterns and had a hard time with the trigger. 1 year later I brought it back to Milarm and was given a new one due to a manufacturers defect along with a smooth barrel. Feeling relieved it wasn't me, i decided to invest more money into it and bought a rifled barrel with picatinny rail, a scope and a Knoxx Spec Op stock. Really nice but since i hunt in the bush for deer, the scope is next to useless. Next and last thing is the rifled barrel with iron sights.
When i've got the scoped barrel on and i'm using Winchesters Partition Gold 385 gr. 2 3/4" Sabot Slugs in there, how accurate is it really at 200 yrds? Anyone know? Any other suggestions?
I must say that i'm very happy with the gun now. I know there's a lot of guns out there 10 times better, but for the price, it's pretty sweet.
