Mossberg 500a mods

So I have a mossberg 500a persuader. Curious If mods are possible on this? Magpul stock I assume all good. Can the fore end be switched to Magpul also?

Also wondering if mag tube extensions have been done on this model? I read on interweb that certain models you can't really mod and others you can. Anyone have one? Tips?

Anything advertised for the Mossberg 500 fits. The only time it wouldn't is if you had a Maverick 88 (pump assy is different diameter).

If you want to use mag extensions, you'll need to swap out the mag and barrel to 590 without the screw cap attached to the barrel.

Mcarbo trigger spring kit. Makes Mossberg 500/590 triggers much better imo.

My 590A1 has the dreaded broken tabs on the trigger pack, will a Mav 88 trigger function in the 590 so I can get the crossbolt safety? I'm not too concerned about metal or plastic.

Why not just swap out the 590 receiver for a 88 if you want the cross belt safety ?
If you do , I happen to be looking for another 500/590 receiver.

Because I don't want to lose my ghost rings, or my surefire forend.

You wouldn't lose ether , It would just be a matter of getting a maverick 88 receiver tapped for the rear sight , the barrel , mag tube and slide action will fit on a 88 receiver , just saying .
