Hey everyone, I was thinking of getting a mossberg 535 ATS Pump action combo with the field/deer barrels and the wood stock.
But then I saw the mossberg 500 pump action combo also with the field/deer barrels and wood stock. Just wondering what are the differences and which one is better?

Get the 535 3 barrel combo with full camo and call it a day.

Comes with waterfowl, deer and turkey barrels, I think the going price is $575

The 535 ATS is capable of handling 3.5" shells, whereas the 500 is only good for 3". I believe you can only get the 535 in camo, whereas the 500 you have some choice, but on this point, I could be mistaken.

The main difference is the 3.5" chamber.

I bought a 500 yesterday and had considered both these options. The field/deer combo for the 500 had the right price. I have never shot 3.5" shell anyways, 3" is good enough for me.

Thanks for the info guys, today my dad ordered a 535 ats with the field/deer barrels in wood stock, $430, hopefully it's a good gun.

I got the mossberg 535 3 barrel combo in mossy oak break up. Love this gun, pretty sure Ill use it more then my 870 now.

you wont be disapointed, the rifled barrel and turkey barrels shoot awesome. ( havnt tried the 28" waterfowl yet)

i bot the 535ats deer feild combo and love it it does shoot 3.5" whereas the 500 only shots 3"
u can get it in wood and blued receiver and the slug barrel has a 4" group at 100 yards off hand thats as good as i can shoot
there cheap and not as pretty as my wingmaster 870 but i use the mossberg more and like it better
