I understand that it unscrews, but with what? I've tried rubberized gloves, I've tried a strap wrench, hell I've tried sumo-wrestlers, thing won't budge! Any tips folks?

You don't have to take the mag. tube off for that. The far end of the tube typically has a C-style cup pressed in, with the spring under that. You can pry it out carefully as long as you know that the magazine spring will be under lots of force behind it. Also realize there is probably a magazine plug inside there as well, limiting the magazine to only two shots (hunting regulations). Remove the plug and you can load four shots, + one in the chamber.

ever curve a stick over the stove or heat gun? i used the same style turned the burner on slowly heated the tube up with everything off the gun(trigger barrel and what not) then my brother held the stock i grabbed the tube as turned like hell, works fine done it with 2 new guns so far. they have locktite so its pretty damn hard to do it without heat and iam by no means a small guy. :)

I usually strip the action and remove the barrel. I put the front end of the mag tube in a vise with thick rubber jaws. Heat the rear of the mag tube and front of the receiver with either a torch or heat gun, this will soften the Loctite. When parts are very warm just grab the receiver with your bare hands and unscrew. Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosey. I've done lots and lots of them this way.

The spring on mine got all messed up once during a turkey hunt. If you remove your barrel and look down the hole on your mag tube that your barrel screws onto, you'll have direct access to the spring. I grabbed a pen of the appropriate size and stuck it down that hole and managed to get my spring back the way it was supposed to be. You could try it with your magazine plug actually but it might be a bit too thick to maneuvre around much. That was the first and only time it has ever done that.

I'm not saying that will work for you as it did for me...but it's worth a try before you go to the trouble of removing the magazine tube.
