Well I've only shot my 535 on paper about 10 times so I was only loading one shell into it at a time. Today I was kind of messing around it with and I noticed a problem with it. I can't get it to feed another shell into the chamber from the magtube. I can rack the shell out of the chamber no problem, but it wont feed another one into the gun unless I jerk the gun down and the shell just falls out of the magtube. I rack it hard or soft and it doesnt matter. 2 3\4 and 3" shells are both the same. What could be the problem??

I notice when I load the 2 shells into the magtube there doesnt seem like much force on the spring like my 870. Could that be the problem? weak spring???

anyone else with a mossberg have a problem like this? I bought it at epps so I'll take it back and get them to look at it. gun shoots well I just dont wanna be trying to feed a shell in the chamber if I need a second shot.

I don't have this problem, but it sounds like something is wrong with the mag spring or shell follower. Take the mag cap off and pull the spring out and see whats going on. If your not comfortable with pulling it apart take it back and see what Epps will do for you.

I just tried my brother and dads mossy 500 and they both have about 5x as much spring pressure when you feed shells in. My 535 just goes in with no presssure. I wonder if I still got warrenty....bought it back in march

I bought a 535 from epps, also had a problem but mine was a little different (I know that your problem is different, but just sayin). It was the shell stop interrupter, which is just a little piece of stamped steel. When I cycled it it would spit a fresh shell out the bottom and on to the ground instead of feeding it properly in to the chamber. Epps does not do warranty work for Mossberg and put me in touch with the guy who does do the warranty work in Mount Forest ON. So his shop is called Grech Outdoors - 519-509-4867 at 153 Main S , Mount Forest , ON. He said if I shipped it to him it would be 6 - 8 weeks to fix (as I recall) BUT if I brought it in in person he would fix on the spot, which is just what he did. He has a cool shop and we had a nice chat about hunting, shotguns, etc. while he replaced the shell stop interrupter and one other stamped part. Took maybe 10 min.

So in short, I wouldn't even bother with Epps if I were you, unless you happen to be driving past. I don't see why they would want to screw with it, when it is actually a mossberg issue, not theirs.

thx alot oneskilledshooter. I know John Grech, actually bought a few guns off him. I also talked to another guy and said he that a guy in Mount Forest did warrenty, but couldnt think of his name, same guy I imagine.

appreciate it man
