my choice will be always a Remy 870/12ga, smooth action, reliable, accurate !
My 500 lives in the cab of my truck but if I'm going to do any real work , hunt or play I take my 870. I keep the 500 in the truck in case I get into a pinch , it'll go bang... I just prefer the fit , feel and action on an 870.
I'm noticing a lack of threaded barrels for the Mossbergs in 18.5" or 20" barrel lengths. What's up with that? Am I looking in the wrong places or what.
Nice, dude! It says you're in Ottawa, does that go over well in the city?
What will you be using it for? Something to consider - if it is going to be a shotgun you will be taking camping or hiking, I would say get the 870 since you can get one with a 12.5 inch barrel, whereas the mossberg has a longer barrel - I've never seen one with a barrel shorter than 18 inches.

It's goes over just fine. I adhere and follow the laws concerning the transport of non-restricted firearms and ammunition to a tee.
Any trouble with the cops? I know if that happened in the GTA, driving down Yonge street if someone were to see you/it it would cause a major hassle. Cheers!
See me|it? It is trigger locked in a case that is locked and bolted down out of sight in the cab. As i said i follow all the laws concerning transportation of a non-restricted firearm and then some.
