i'd like to see you try and put me on that ship. so , is being blindly (ignorantly) patriotic a virtue? didn't seem to work out too well for germany, you would have fit in nicely there. they were big on shipping people to other places.

I'm betting you just haven't gained a whole lot of life experience outside our ultra-privileged life here in Canada. I mentioned I don't have much time for ingrates and I'm going against that arguing, so with this good riddance and ignore list on, please put me on your list as well.

We aren't blindly patriotic, we just damn well appreciate what we have. If you think gun selection and access is life you're in for an unhappy and hollow spell on this planet. There is so much to life you take for granted like safe food available at a thing called a grocery store, one of the lowest risks of being a victim of crime in the world, health care, paved roads and streetlights, free school to 18 years old, and a host of other comforts and conveniences thanks to our great country.

All the scores that died in the World Wars should have been able to talk to ingrate pukes that scoff at what we've built in Canada and take it for granted. Travel, it will open your eyes, in a lot of parts of the world you're scantly allowed to think the thoughts you're spewing about the country you live in. Most of earth's citizens don't even have to ability to post such a dissenting remark freely on a public Internet forum. Here it is your right, even if what you have to say is beyond pathetic and parasitic, that is enjoying all our freedoms and privileges and pissing on them at the same time.

For the last time, back to shotguns.

yeah, i was venting at the time since the selection around here feels like the soviet union. to the blindly patriotic fools who were miffed, get over it, i am. ordered an automatic from another brand.

Prolly shouldn't bite here but.....

Blindly patriotic...yer gonna have to qualify yer' statement I'd suggest. This site is populated with plenty of people who have risked their neck in the name of patriotism.....me, my Dad and Grandpa among em'. The patriotism ain't so much blind as it is INGRAINED and UNWAIVERING.

I'll step out on a thin branch and suspect the issue here is electronic tone and it's inability to provide context???
If not ....houston we have a problem.

BTW All of the 590's I have owned/own have been great guns. I have ended up with the 18.5in model with pistol type sights which has the rear site barrel mounted....they are very fast and user friendly compared to the ghosts which strike me as fragile, slow to aquire and uneccessary for typical shotgun engagement.
This particular gun is perfect....I found the 20in a bit cumbersome and heavy and I seem to be making out just fine without the bayo! LOL

thank you for your pious rant, fool. as i mentioned before, i was venting since i could not find a shotgun in the entire country. no big deal, spent a couple of hours calling across the entire country and was surprised at the lack of selection. hey, i'm doing fine but most of the people im surrounded by live hand to mouth. they're called wage slaves. they don't seem very happy either. they work all day just to pay for groceries and rent. they're probably a bunch of ingrates too.

You caught me with forgetting the ignore. Yes, hand to mouth in Canada is still top of the world, you know your kids will grow up here. It gets a lot worse out there and so many forget that, and it makes many of us very angry.

My 590A1 arrived, look forward to running it.
