Mossberg 590 bolt locking back (Any ideas -How to fix)

Hi all

I am having problems with my 590, when I rack it the side/bolt will lock up the 590 in the open position. I've broke it down and do not see any obvious problems. as soon as I release the barrel and thew bolt will release and upon reassembly it will dry pump for 7-8 times and then lock up again. Any ideas?

This is strictly a guess and the two parts may not even be close enough to interact, but is it possible that the screw holding the safety is loose and allowing the little "L" safety block to interfer with the bolt or the little "L" shaped safety block is installed backwards. Thanks Bearman, the safety did not appear to be loose, however, I removed the safety and shucked the shotty and no problem, then reassembled it with the safety and all appears good. I may of tighten it and set that L safety block canted or something before she locked up on me..

She locked up again, BPCR told me to check the loaction of the heat shield, it was 1 1/2" from the receiver, I brought it up to the receiver , tighten it up, 28 slugs later, al is OK.
