Mossberg 590A1 forend and stock options?

Mesa Tactical makes a stock adapter, gives you a few options there with AR stocks. There's the B&T pump for them aswell.

Or any 500 wood furniture

Second the mesa stock adaptor , couple that with a Endine type recoil buffer tube and a magpul CTR or moe stock with a limbsaver pad [ they make one just for the magpul stock , nice and soft . ] , and you can shoot all day with out pain .lol
Hogue makes a nice forend , their stocks are okay as well ,but I really like their forends .
You might also look at Boyds for some different wood set ups .

For Mossberg 500/590 the only buttstock I LOVE is the Magpul SGA. It does away with the ridiculous LOP, rock hard buttpad, horrendous reach to the trigger and crappy cheek weld. The OE buttstock is the bane of Mossberg shotguns for me. I did try the very cheap ATI pistol grip buttstock, similar looking to the speedfeed 4, and found it very comfortable on a 20" Maverick. The crossbolt safety on the 88 made safety manipulation easy with that stock. I did have to rotate my hand a bit to hit the slide release but thats not a big deal to me. Unfortunately it too had a horrendous LOP and hockey puck for a recoil pad that ATI touted as some sort of recoil system. At any rate the cheek weld was great with a bead sighted 20" and cheek slap was non existent. My current 14" 590A1 is kitted with an SGA buttstock and Surefire DSF. With GRS, it's the Cadillac of pump shotguns for me.
