Got my new 590a1 last week. I think it looks pretty good.
Mossberg did a great job on every parts of this gun making it all flat black tactical look, even beed sight and shell plug. But there is very just one thing that is not black and i am curious how much guys here hate that 2 white line bar of where the barrel is glued to the mag tube holder LOL

I can live with that but its kinda annoying mossberg missed this detail aha.

I tried to hide it with a black sharpie but its not matching at all its looking even worst! I tried paint touch up in matte black but still no match and too thick.

Let me know what about yours XD

It's called brazing. Basically they melt (aluminum?) to glue together the barrel and magazine tube. The front sight on my 590A1 SPX is also like that. I barely ever noticed it so either they did a poor brazing job or you have OCD.

It’s silver solder, if it bothers you there’s a product any stained glass supply shop will have that will black solder out. Similar to gun blue or brass black but for silver solder, I know a girl that does stained glass and she was telling me about it.
