Mossberg 590A1 help

I got a brand new never fired Mossy 590A1 with 14 inch barrel that I purchased from Bullseye sports when they brought them in. I never shot it, it just sat in the gun cabinet.

Im having issues with the follower getting stuck in the mag tube, I have taken it apart and cleaned the mag tube a few times, but it keeps happening. Anybody else have these issues? Every other round seems to get jammed too, like it gets stuck in the tube. As well 3 inch magnum slugs don't want to go in the tube at all.:confused:
 
Buy an S&J hardware no jam follower.

I have them in all my Shotguns and they are 100% reliable.

Im going to have too I guess. I called Grech Outdoors who is the warrenty center for Mossberg shotguns and they said because its a 14 inch mossy that should not have got into Canada, as Canada allowed it but the USA doesn't like to export them, that they cant get the parts for the 14 inch mossys, as the US wont give them any. So the spring, forarm, magtube, barrel ect. They cant get.
 
It would cost you more to ship the gun back to them.... and you would still get a ####ty factory follower... lol...

WTF, that's BS. Mine and most other 14" 590A1 owners have one that is reliable as hell. Mine is, anyway. Sad to see that Grech isn't going to service them, that sucks ballz right there. Good luck with the repairs, hopefully you can find the parts.

If no more are coming in, maybe our 14" 590A1's are worth $1000+ again :nest:

They didn't say they wont look at it, they just told me they cant get the certain parts for the 14 inch 590A1s as the US wont export them. So mag tube, the spring, the barrel ect. He said I could send it in, but im gonna try another follower first.

I didn't see any obvious burrs and I took it to a local gunsmith who but a thing threw the mag tube to get rid of any burrs, as well the gun function flawlessly for awhile as I test all my shotguns several times for feeding ext, but the last time I checked it the follower got stuck in the mag tube, so something went wrong somewhere. Also I noticed a lot of white chit everywhere, like little specs of it. Ive cleaned it several times but that stuff shows back up again after you pump the shotgun a few times. I dunno where its coming from.
 
Well I polished the follower and now it seems to be working fine. It worked fine with federal 00 buck, challenger slugs, rottweil slugs, but.... It didn't like the 3 inch brenneke black magic slugs, they did not want to go in the mag tube, you would get the odd one in then the other would jam up. I tried them in my 590 that I have and it was the same thing. I tried them in my 870 build from Tac ord and they worked no problem.

So I may need followers and springs for both mossys as they should take that ammo. They both seem to like the 2 3/4 stuff fine. The 870 build from tac ord will take anything.

we are not a retail store, like many othere you see here, we make our own products, to that note there is no one sitting behind a desk 9hrs a day waiting for the phone to ring.
we try to get back to as many people as we can , be it 6am or 11 at night.
we have email also we try to get on CGN as much as we can

My mag tube was full of some sticky spooge. I swabbed it out really good with hoppes and a bore brush, followed up by a light film of synthetic oil and then back in went the spring and a follower from S&J. The factory one works, but it's a 10 cent of chinese steel that doesn't do the shotty justice (except maybe the finish).

do i have two order through the website or can i emt you. i want two of those non binding followers for my 590a1 and 590. i did email as well.
