Check your shell stops. Sometimes they can be a little out of spec and need a little material removed for 100% reliable function.

Yep, had that problem till I swapped out the shell interrupter.Rounds would hang up in the mag tube after racking out the spent shell.
Although not necessary an aftermarket spring like a Wolff or S&J will have more power and last longer.

Just installed the followers, they work great. 2 3/4 stuff cycles flawlessly, ive tried challenger slugs, rottweil, federal, federal 00 buck, they all work great. But neither of the guns either the 590A1 14 inch or my 590 20 inch like the Brenneke black magic 3 inch magnums. It will cycle it fine once its in the tube, but it just doesn't want to go up the mag tube without a little persuasion.

yup. got them imported by irunguns. i got lucky. cant get them now. i got 75 rounds.

I tried calling S&J and emailing them but still no replys. These guys open or what, it says 7 days a week on the website.

S&J has outstanding service and they make the finest Shotgun follower in the world. i give the things out as gifts to all my shooting friends. the factory followers in 870 and 500 series shotguns are garbage.

I like the raised boss on the 870 model. it lets me check to see if the tube is empty with just my thumb.
