yeah i learned my lesson with those. it wouldnt cycle reliably in my semis
theyre fine in my 870s though.

i actually think the case is steel, not aluminum.

I have noticed that too. Buddy unloaded on me a bunch of aluminum base shells that would lock up his Express solid. Worked fine in my 18.5 590.

just checked - thats steel guys, not aluminum.... unless Winchester has managed to engineer a ferromagnetic aluminum

Right you are......it always looked like aluminum to me, so I assumed that is what it was, but......the stuff is definitely magnetic! What is it they say about assumptions?
