Happy friday fellows
Finally i got a 590A1 retro! Been a year i tried to get one but every time they come back in stock, they disappeared so fast. I love the look, with heatshield and wood furniture. Ofc, when you get a shotgun with a bayonet lug,you need a bayonet otherwise ther shotgun doesnt shoot lol. Here we have a M7 bayonet, fit very securely. I read that the M9 bayo doesnt fit well because the distance between the ring and the rear pommel is a little bit longer and the bayonet doesnt mount securely. What you say guys with M9 bayo? The U.S requirement specified that a military shotgun must accept a M7 bayonet. Only thing, i had to tweak the lefthand cartridge stop, was bent in an hair too much and sometime, didnt release the shell from the mag but now is perferct. So Mossberg please improve QC! In all, i am perfectly satisfied, the wood is very well finished and just make shotgun looking awewsome. Now i wait after a surplus nylon sling for the last touch.
